This is our first attempt to create a classroom wiki in which we can publish information about the topics we have chosen this year for PROYECTO INTEGRADO EN 1ยบ DE BACHILLERATO in the High School IES MURILLO in Seville

This blog is part of a cross-curricular science teaching. IES Murillo is a bilingual school (English-Spanish) and we focus on communicative proficiency. Because it is also a collaborative blog published by students, you may find some grammar mistakes that have not been corrected.

Then, summing up this blog could be understood as a Biology and Geology group portfolio concerning the Environment.

PLANNING THE WORK

ENVIRONMENTAL DAY AT IES MURILLO. JUNE 5TH 2012

EVERY GROUP MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

1- A DIARY. Every day we have class, you must write about what you/we have done. We will start with a notebook, but the idea is to have the diary on the wiki.
FOR EXAMPLE. TODAY FEBRAURY 3rd
  • Sonia introduced herself.
  • We filled in the questionnaire.
  • We discussed what to do for the rest of the course.
  • Sonia told us what is expected from us.
  • We make new groups.
  • HOMEWORK:
    • To send an e- mail to Sonia with your topic choice for your group.

2- AN EXPERIMENTAL PLAN APPROVED BY SONIA. Here you can Download the Project Proposal


3- AN EXPERIMENT ABOUT YOUR TOPIC. You have to look for an easy experiment that you can develop for the Environmental Day.
4- A REPORT ABOUT YOUR EXPERIMENT. Include it on the wiki.

5- THE PRESENTATION ( Power- point, Poster, Video, song...). You have 10 minutes for your presentation.


6- A DIGITAL PORTFOLIO in you team's page.
